Chris Lytridis received his BEng (Honours) degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 1999, his Msc degree in Mobile Robotics in 2000 and his PhD degree in Mobile Robotics in 2004 from the University of Portsmouth, UK. He is a member of the HUman-MAchines INteraction (HUMAIN) Lab at the International Hellenic University (Kavala campus), and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. He has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in a number of subjects such as programming, robotics, computer graphics, mobile app development, and educational technologies, both at the University of Portsmouth as well as at the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology. He has been involved in various research projects regarding the development of educational software and social robotics. His research interests include mobile robotics, social robotics, augmented reality applications and educational software and he has published several research papers in these areas.
